The Riveter especially caters to women who are starting their own businesses, transitioning from corporate America after starting a family, or working to build a more inclusive culture at their companies. It now has eight co-working spaces across the country with more to launch in 2019. Each venue offers office space and a host of amenities, along with events and gatherings addressing all facets of life for women, educational programs and professional development.
Founder and CEO Amy Nelson launched The Riveter in 2017 while pregnant with her third daughter in three years. A graduate of Emory University and the NYU School of Law, Amy practiced corporate litigation with a focus on high-profile First Amendment matters for over a decade in New York City and Seattle, and served on President Obama’s National Finance Committee.
