Ita joined GBC as Partner in July 2018 after four years of heading her own advisory and consulting firm, Tigress Ventures. Crunchbase also included Ita in its recent roundup of 39 African-American women in VC who are making strides in closing the venture capital industry’s (gaping) racial and gender gap.

“Despite the dismal diversity numbers,” writes Crunchbase‘s Jeremy Brown, “there are black women in VC [like Ita] who are inspiring a new wave of investors.” Read the full article.
