Olivia is passionate about investing in women and supporting female-led businesses at all stages, sizes, and levels of capital. She strongly believes that increasing diversity in both the founder and funder communities is vital to fostering ideas and businesses that can help solve the evolving challenges facing consumers and businesses today.
Olivia joined the GingerBread Capital team in October 2019 as an associate to focus on identifying the next generation of successful female-led enterprises and to support GBC’s current portfolio.
Previously, Olivia served on the investment team at Luminate Capital Partners, a San Francisco-based private equity firm focused on enterprise software investing. She began her career in the Technology, Media, and Telecom Investment Banking group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York City.
Olivia also served as the Chair of the Vetting Committee of Spark SF, a non-profit organization committed to advancing gender equality by engaging its members in accessible forms of philanthropy. Spark SF awarded small grants to grassroots women’s organizations globally, before being acquired by Global Fund for Women.
A native of San Francisco, Olivia graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a BA in Economics and a minor in Political Science.
